MABON – A Poem For The Autumn Equinox

FROM THE LAMPLIGHTER CHAPTERS

MABON

Autumn tugs my sleeve
“Slow down.“
“Not quite yet” the broom beckons,
“Still much to do.”
But the eiderdown has other ideas,
And the new cold, under my feet when I alight in the morning.
