Patiently I waited for the rage
And there was no mistaking you today.
Without shadow or doubt.
Soul content. Last loose end.
Earthly body turned to ashes.
So, you damned the morning.
Today was for the vessel that kept you.
The life you might have had,
Regrets. Wrath.
Self-pity & sorrow.
You lashed with wild winds and rain,
Clouds black as ravens.
For each unfathomable,
Frustrated trial. Each disappointment and
Historical hurt. Once Upon A Time.
Your frenzy howled through the trees.
“Fuck!” you finally wept through the storm,
While I kept the candle flame burning all the day,
So you might find your way back to me.
When the dust of your time came to settle.
